Senior Accountant

Ball Ventures seeks a self-motivated, team-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties. Responsibilities include analyzing complex financial records and reports and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. An outstanding candidate should possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Typical Job Functions

• Analyze complex financial records and reports
• Assist with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
• Assist in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
• Review monthly work papers to validate account balances
• Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus two years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent technical, oral, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA and/or MBA
• Public accounting experience
• Residential and commercial real estate accounting experience
• Multiple entity experience
