KRISTIN ARMSTRONG WILL BUILD FITNESS CENTER AT TEN MILE CROSSING

By Teya Vitu, Idaho Business Review   October 9, 2018

Off her bicycle, three-time Olympic gold medalist and Boise resident Kristin Armstrong is entering the business world with a fitness center at the Ten Mile Crossing business park in Meridian.

Armstrong and her husband, Joe Savola, will build and operate a 10,000-square-foot PIVOT KA Lifestyle + Fitness health and fitness center alongside the first three office buildings at Ten Mile Crossing, the Ball Ventures Ahlquist development at Interstate 94 and Ten Mile Road.

“Improving corporate and individual health has always been a passion of mine and the building of this facility is a realization of a long-time goal,” Armstrong said in a news release. “Our mission will be to foster a community environment and sense of belonging where people are personally empowered to achieve their goals.”

Armstrong’s venture joins Paylocity, which moved into its five-story, 127-square-foot office in July, and AmeriBen, which became Ten Mile Crossing’s first tenant in August 2017 in a two-story, 70,000-square-foot structure. A third office building – a four-story, 84,000-square-foot structure – is under construction.
